Natalia was raised from a little girl by the Church of Light and trained into one of the Church’s assassins. This young phenom had risen to become the top assassin for the Church via her outstanding talents, but then on one assassination mission, she failed, causing her companion to meet with unprecedented disaster. Although she was able to escape danger with Tigreal’s help, this was undoubtedly a severe blow to proud Natalia. To prove herself again, she exiled herself to the outskirts of the land far from the Empire and the Church to carry out more dangerous missions. Who is her target? Will she be able to win back all the she once possessed?
Assassin Instinct – Attacks made from behind will deal an extra 20% damage. If the hero is in the brush for 2s without receiving or dealing damage, the hero will enter Stealth mode and leaving the brush for 5 seconds or dealing damage will make the hero reappear. Stealth mode increases her movement speed by 50%, causes the next basic attack to deal 50% extra damage, and silences the target for 2 seconds.
Claw Dash – Dashes forward, dealing 250 physical damage to enemies along the way. This ablity can be cast twice. 11 seconds cooldown. 50 mana cost.
Smoke bomb – Cast a smoke bomb on the spot, slowing down movement speed for enemies within by 65%. The hero’s attack speed will increase by 30% and the hero will be able to dodge all basic attacks.
Cold-blooded Strangling – Makes multiple forward attacks in a raow, each dealing 60 physical damage and lowering movement speed of affected targets by 65%.
Tooth of Greed – +75 Physical Attack / 25% Lifesteal / Frenzy : When HP drops below 20%, the hero will receive an extra 10% physical lifesteal. Good for lane sustain because of 25% lifesteal. The passive comes tricky against your opponent in trades. So if you are going to fight, fight it till the end because upon reaching below 20% for your HP, your lifesteal will increase by 10%.
Swift Boots – 15% attack speed / +40 movement speed.
Blade of Destruction – +75 Physical Attack / 20% Critical Strike Chance / 50% Critical Damage / Doom : Critical strikes will increase on’e physical attack by 5% lasting 2 seconds. This will gives you a powerspike from critical damage and physical attack.
Scarlet Phantom – +30 Physical attack / +40% attack speed / +10% Critical Strike Chance / Frenzy : Critical strikes will increase the hero’s attack speedy by 35% and critical strike rate to 10% that lasts for 2 seconds. This works a better with Natalia’s passive. Backstab : 100% critical strike when attacking from behind.
Blade of Despair – +130 Physical Attack / +25% attack speed / 10% Critical Strike chance / Despair : deals an extra 15% damage to an enemy in abnormal state (stunned, knocked airborne, transformed, disabled)
Wind Chaser – +60 Physical Attack / +45% Physical Penetration. Get it if against tank.
Immortality – +800 Hp / +40 magic resistance / Rebirth : resurrect in 2 seconds after dying and get 15% HP and a shield that can absorb damage equal to 40% max HP. Shield last for 3 seconds. 180 seconds cooldown.
Natalia is difficult to master due to her mechanics and abilities. A melee at the same time squishy having a task of going in to the middle of the enemy team and assassinate the carry as fast as possible and then go out. This hero also requires deeper understanding as it includes mind games from her passive that makes her tricky to play. Above all Natalia is very rewarding and can carry the entire team if you know how to player her well.
She is good in ganking and weak or should I say difficult in teamfight unless your teammate knows your role and will cover you up. On early level she is very good on bursting opponent to death with her dash – smoke and ultimate. With her smoke against auto-attack reliant hero such as marksman and fighter she can dominate them easily.
On early phase, just go roving as possible and kill laners. Just go on auto-attack reliant and kill them helplessly with your dash and smoke bomb. Just be careful with your dash as this comes tricky with reactivation especially if you are in auto target. Instead of going out from the clash this will go directly on your target.
Being an assassin, this is one of the most difficult role in game. The simplest way to do it is to let your team initiate first and go on behind or in blind spot. Once your teammate already got the attention of the enemy, that is the time you are going out from the bush and kill the carry. Be patient and remain in bush so you can take advantage the invisible state.
