Thanks to Patch 1.1.60 for bringing Moskov in Mobile Legends. This is another marksman in game after the release of Yi Sun Shin. And just like with most heroes it has a major resemblance to League of Legends’ champions. You will see Moskov based from Jinx and Vayne. His global ultimate is obviously taken from Jinx while his 1st skill and 2nd skill are based from Vayne. So if you played those champions before, you will never find Moskov difficult to play.

Spear of Quiescence – Moskov’s basic attack can penetrate the targets and deal damage to enemies behind them. Hitting enemies successfully will reduce the cooldown of Abyss Walker and Spear of Death. This will gives you advantage in chasing down target. This passive also makes Moskov a good ganker since there will be always a same approach which is running away when your opponent sees you in 2v1 engage. From attacking behind, you will get bonus damage and this will tear down even tank’s armor.
Abyss Walker – Moskov uses the power of shadow to teleport to the specified position, enhancing attack’s penetration ability and increasing attack speed. This will gives you a good position which is very crucial for a marksman to win a team fight. This is a good factor on picking a marksman. This is also a reason why Miya is a good marksman since she can have a optimized position using her ultimate. In case of Moskov, he can take advantage this skill to always ensure that he can maximize his damage from his passive.
Spear of Death – Moskov strikes at an enemy hero with full strength, dealing physical damage and knocking back the target. If the knocked-back target collides with another enemy hero, then both enemies will receive physical damage and be stunned. If the target hits obstacles, it will be stunned. With Abyss Walker that can be used as both offense and defense based on your position and buffs, Spear of Death will discourage your enemy to obtain a good positioning based on the scenario. Aside from a knock back, you can also get advantage from stun and AoE effect if you can manage to hit several targets with this skill.
Spear of Destruction – Moskov throws out the Spear of Destruction after powering up shortly, dealing physical damage to enemies along a straight line. For each enemy it hits, it will provide a buff of increasing attack power to Moskov which can stack up. This what makes Moskov overpowered for now. (hoping for nerf in the future). Though it requires precision, this skill can makes him a good helping hand to his allies. Aside from damage this can also boost his damage upon hitting multiple target. Don’t hesitate to use it even for the sake of assist.
Tooth of Greed – +75 Physical Attack / 25% Lifesteal / Frenzy : When HP drops below 20%, the hero will receive an extra 10% physical lifesteal. This will gives you sustain. Just like with other marksman, Moskov needs sustain and Tooth of Greed is a good starting item that gives sustain and decent damage.
Swift Boots – 15% attack speed / +40 movement speed. You need movement speed so you can roam to other lane. Just like what I’ve said above, Moskov is a good ganker, so always do a gank to other lane to get advantage from 3v2 teamfight. An early investment with boots will gives you mobility in roaming from different lane and jungle camp.
Endless Battle – +50 Physical Attack / +25 Magic Power / +350 Hp / +5% Movement speed / +15% Lifesteal / +400 Mana / Divine Justice : After using an ability, the next basic attack will have an additional 70% physical damage as true damage. This effect has a 2 seconds cooldown. / Chase Fate : When Divine Justice’s effect is triggered, it will increase the hero’s movement speed by 15%. You will not commonly see this item in most marksman aside from Clint. But actually I found it also effective to Moskov due to his fast cooldown with his passive. I also like how this item will boost his movement speed that will help you chase down target once you go for gank. With this perfect build you can have as 35% lifesteal. This will also improves his mana as I found one of his downside on being mana reliant. Endless Battle is a perfect gear for him.
Scarlet Phantom – +30 Physical attack / +40% attack speed / +10% Critical Strike Chance / Frenzy : Critical strikes will increase the hero’s attack speedy by 35% and critical strike rate to 10% that lasts for 2 seconds. This will improve your overall damage output especially with your basic attack. Because as marksman, the late game relies on your basic attacks.
Blade of Despair – +130 Physical Attack / +25% attack speed / 10% Critical Strike chance / Despair : deals an extra 15% damage to an enemy in abnormal state (stunned, knocked airborne, transformed, disabled). In addition to damage, this will boost your damage once your 2nd skill hit your target successfully.
Blade of Destruction – +75 Physical Attack / 20% Critical Strike Chance / 50% Critical Damage / Doom : Critical strikes will increase on’e physical attack by 5% lasting 2 seconds. To complete your damage item but Blade of Destruction. You don’t need Wind Chaser anymore as your passive can penetrate armor, all you have to do is to bring out more damage and attack speed to speed up making stacks.
I really love the mechanics of this hero which is similar to Vayne. Your key here is to play aggressively. Use your position as your advantage. This is a kind of hero that has outstanding chasing ability. You need to dominate the lane by playing aggressively with your 1st and 2nd skill. This is why I get Tooth of Greed over Endless Battle though the main core of this build is the Endless Battle. If you are going to play aggressively, you need to have a good sustain and this two items are enough to dominate lane with kiting and proper positioning.
In teamfight, make sure to have a good position. A good marksman priority defense over offense in terms of selecting a target. Noob marksman just look at the hero with least HP without minding that this will risk his position. You have offensive items you need to unleash damage. What you need to keep in mind is to survive longer in clash so you can deal more damage over time. With Moskov’s mechanics of good mobility and crowd control, this is not difficult to do.
Also it is better to spam your ultimate so you can have stacks and buffs from it. Don’t save it for last hit while you must not also relies on this more than your basic attack. Marksman damage output really implies from his basic attack and not with his skill. Just use his skill for mechanics that will improve your basic attack.
