Mobile Legends : Hanabi Item Build and Strategy Guide

Hanabi received the teachings of the Scarlet Shadow ninja secret Supreme Grandmaster from a young age, exhibiting natural tanet that far exceeded any of her peers, until she met a young shadow ninja called Hayabusa. This was the very first time the proud Hanabi came across anyone who could hold their own against her. Whenever the moon was full, Hanabi would try to find ways to provoke this young shadow ninja into dueling with her, however, she could never defeat this youngster, who fused spiritualism with shadow techniques to create a unique and powerful style. As the two of them slowly grew up together, it began to dawn on Hanabi that this young shadow ninja carried that burden of an inescapable fate — Hayabusa was in fact destined to challenge and kill the legendary former Shadow of Iga for his betrayal of their clan. After the two young ninjas fought, Hayabusa would lie on the ground, starring up at the full moon in the sky, the reflection of the moonlight in his eyes quietly burning into Hanabi’s heart. Having never felt this kind of feeling before, Hanabi became very distressed. Whenever she saw Hayabusa and the young spiritualist girl known as Kagura smiling and laughing as they greeted each other, her heart would fill with inexplicable rage and vexation. When she heard that Hayabusa would become the clan’s next Shadow, she decided to take on the name Scarlet, and from the secret vault of the Supreme Grandmaster, she stole her secret’s forbidden weapon – the Higanbana. Hanabi decided that she would challenge her age-old rival to one final competition, and now her one aim in life is to find and kill the disgraced former Shadow before Hayabusa does.

+Passive is really OP (Lifesteal + Immune to CC)
+Marksman with good crowd control

-Less mobility
-Requires clever positioning
-Not as hard hitter as other marksman

Ninjutsu: Equinox – The Scarlet Shadow’s secret technique. When Hanabi has full HP, 100% of health that would have been granted from Lifesteal is converted into a shield for up to 20% of her Max HP. When this shield is active, Hanabi is immune to all control effects. This is overpowered. Using this skill you can defend yourself from the main weaknesses of marksman – crowd control. Not to mention that lifesteal and shield which is viable in marksman but the immunity in crowd control is very helpful. Also there is no cooldown on it. So unless that you have the shield or your HP is full it is given that you are immune to crowd control.

Ninjutsu: Petal Barrage – Hanabi consumes mana to unleash the flower demon sealed within the Higanbana, firing petal blades at her enemies. After each basic attack hits, a new blade will spawn and deal physical damage to the enemy. Fires 3 petals. Passive: Hanabi’s gains 7% Lifesteal, which will increase by 3% each time this skill’s level is upgraded. Prioritize leveling this skill to maximize the lifesteal on every upgrade. This is also your spamming skill in laning phase.

Ninjutsu: Soul Scroll – Fires a kuna in the specified direction, attached to a scroll sealed with demonic flower energy. Deals 300 physical damage to enemies it hits along the way and slows them by 60% for 2 seconds. This is your CC which you are going to use in both offense and defense. In my experience of using it, it will be best to use it if you know that you can kill your target, otherwise just save it so he will get tempted on committing a kill on you and counter him.

Forbidden Jutsu: Higanbana – When you see the leaves, you cannot see the flowers, when you see the flowers, you cannot see the leaves, and when the flowers open, the leaves die. Hanabi completely unlocks the Higanbana’s seal and launches it at the enemy. After hitting an enemy, the Higanbana blooms, dealing 400 (+100% Total Physical ATK) physical damage and immobilizing them for 2 seconds, then spreads to nearby enemies. After a certain period of time, if the enemy is still within range of the Higanbana, a new flower will appear, causing the same damage and immobilization effect. The spreading effect only works once per hero. Marksman with good CC and anti CC is has really great mechanics. With this skill it will be easy for you to secure a kill. Pick a dominating hero from the opposite side and disable/eliminate him using this skill.

Scarlet Phantom – +30 Physical ATK / +40% Attack Speed / +10% Critical Chance / Unique Passive-Frenzy: Crit strikes will increase the hero’s attack speed by 25% and crit strike rate by 5%, lasting 2 seconds. While most players are getting Haas Craws for lifesteal as their first item in marksman and even with Hanabi. But for me and from experimenting in different items for Hanabi I can say that it will be better if we are going to invest on damage rather than lifesteal as she has already lifesteal in passive. Scarlet Phantom will gives you an early power spike which affects lifesteal too.

Swift Boots – +15% Attack Speed / Unique: +40 Movement Speed. While it is a tough decision on getting either Swift boots or Boots of tranquility. But based on my experience, since this hero is not as good hitter as other marksman I need to invest more in attackspeed and Swift Boots will give me this kind of advantage.

Endless Battle – +65 Physical ATK / +25 Mana Regen / +250 HP / +10% CD Reduction / +5% Movement Speed / +15% Lifesteal / Unique Passive-Divine Justice: After using an ability, the next basic attack will deal additional 85% of physical attack as true damage. This effect has a cooldown of 1.5 seconds. Unique Passive-Chase Fate: When Divine Justice’s effect is triggered, it will increase the hero’s movement speed by 15%. This is the right time to build lifesteal but not from Haas Claws as I consider it as low tier item but with Endless Battle. The mana and the passive of this item works on Hanabi well so I believe this is better than Haas Claws only Haas is cheaper that what makes it a good starting or first item.

Berserker’s Fury – +65 Physical ATK / +25% Critical Chance / Unique: +40% Critical Damage / Unique Passive-Doom: Critical strikes will increase one’s physical attack by 5%, lasting 2 seconds. To improve your damage well from Scarlet Phantom. I have critical as the foundation of my damage output so to work it well, I need to get Berserker’s Fury as my 4th item.

Blade of Despair – +170 Physical ATK / 10% Attack Speed / Unique Passive-Despair: Deals an extra 10% damage to an enemy in any abnormal state (stunned, knocked airborne, transformed, disable). More base damage output or I get Malefic Roar first if I’m against on 2 or more tanks.

Malefic Roar – +60 Physical ATK / Unique: +40% Physical PEN / Unique Passive-Armor Buster: Basic attack will ignore 20% of a defense turret’s defensive armor. While some players are getting Immortality as final item, I don’t think Hanabi needs such defensive item since she has a passive armor. What we need to sustain is her damage output to both tank and fighter hero.
