No one knows where he comes from or why he fights, but everyone born in the Wastelands knows that he is the only semblance of justice in these parts. Even the boldest of thieves wouldn’t dare to challenge Clint and his six shooters. With his lightning reflexes and unparalleled accuracy, a flurry of bullets would be buried in his enemies’ foreheads before they had time to blink. He only draws his guns for what he believes are just causes but when he does, there’s hardly a villain alive who can escape his righteous barrels.
This hero is a combination of League of Legends’ Caitlyn, Graves, and Jhin. The passive and Heel Rope is from Cait’s ability. The blind smoke and ultimate is from Graves. And his appearance is from Jhin. Clint also received reworks from Patch 1.1.50. As a long time player of LoL and using the said champions, I believe that I can share to you a guide on how you can play Clint effectively.

Quick Draw – Within 4 seconds after releasing a skill, next basic attack will penetrate targets along a straight line, dealing 120% damage of basic attack. (passive)
Blind Smoke – Projects a smoke shell, dealing 190 physical damage to enemies in the area. The basic attack’s hit rate of enemy heroes in the smoke area will decrease by 25%, movement speed will decrease by 55%. (max this first)
Heel Rope – Shoots a trap net forwards, dealing 160 physical damage to the first enemy it touches and slow the enemy down. Meanwhile the hero will step back for a section of distance.
Howitzer – Launches a grenade toward the target, dealing 230 physical damage when it hits and explodes. It can stack up to 2 grenades. (prioritize this as ultimate)
Endless Battle – +50 Physical Attack / +25 Magic Power / +350 Hp / +5% Movement speed / +15% Lifesteal / +400 Mana / Divine Justice : After using an ability, the next basic attack will have an additional 70% physical damage as true damage. This effect has a 2 seconds cooldown. / Chase Fate : When Divine Justice’s effect is triggered, it will increase the hero’s movement speed by 15%. The most powerful weapon in Mobile Legends. It is must-have for most carry as it gives everything you need in physical damage, lifesteal, movement speed, HP and Mana and a very good passive that works with poking.
Swift Boots – 15% attack speed / +40 movement speed. You need movement for poking / kiting.
Blade of Despair – +130 Physical Attack / +25% attack speed / 10% Critical Strike chance / Despair : deals an extra 15% damage to an enemy in abnormal state (stunned, knocked airborne, transformed, disabled). Good in increasing attack speed and damage output as we need this for stacking up damage.
Blade of Destruction – +75 Physical Attack / 20% Critical Strike Chance / 50% Critical Damage / Doom : Critical strikes will increase on’e physical attack by 5% lasting 2 seconds. This will gives you a powerspike from critical damage and physical attack.
These two items is for late game wherein trading is much effective than poking. You need to surpass them with your damage output and these two items are good enough for improving your arsenal.
Fallen Sword – +10% lifesteal as well as +45 physical damage and +30% attack speed. Additional damage as well as sustain for trades.
Wind Chaser – +60 Physical Attack / +45% Physical Penetration. Get it if you are against with tanks.
Immortality – +800 Hp / +40 magic resistance / Rebirth : resurrect in 2 seconds after dying and get 15% HP and a shield that can absorb damage equal to 40% max HP. Shield last for 3 seconds. 180 seconds cooldown. Recommended item for late game.
Use your passive effectively. First you need to understand how it works especially with the cooldown so you can empower your basic attack with 140% additional damage. The best way to play with it is not to use all your abilities in less than 4 seconds. The combo is simple as you need to use skill then basic attacks. With for seconds interval you can active your passive again and then basic attacks. Never trade with other marksman until you have enough damage with the perfect item build for Clint that we shared above.
Use your traps more on dodging attacks. Clint already has slow with his Blind Smoke what he lacks just like with other marksman is mobility. So reserve your traps for it. You can use traps when someone is chasing you as this can slow him down while giving you an escape.
Farm, farm, farm and dominate. The entire team is relying on you at late game and for you to prepare yourself for late game, you must farm hard as this will gives you better gold than chasing heroes to kill. Keep in mind that it is usual that most marksman has low mobility and it is not good idea to spend time walking around the map to hunt heroes. Focus on CS, play with your support well and win the game.
